Huang Zhen Exhibition Hall
So as to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Red Army’s long march victory, showcase our respect towards the Long March, profoundly cherish the memory of proletarian revolutionary predecessors as well as carry forward the grand spirit of the long march, on the afternoon of 21st September, student representatives from Grade 3 to Grade 6, led by the Counselor of the Young Pioneers, paid a visit to the exhibition hall of Huang Zhen ’s life story in Anqing City. Also in attendance were school leaders from Anqing Foreign Language School’s Primary Department in addition to some Chinese teachers.
Initially during the visit, students concentrated their attention on the interpretation. They also viewed the 25 sketches originally written by Huang Zhen during the long march, recorded what they observed and exchanged their feelings& experiences.
Furthermore, students experienced the glorious life of Huang Zhen who grew from the son of a peasant to a proletarian revolutionist& diplomatist. Students present felt the Red Army’s strong will, fearlessness and perseverance. More noticeably, students were impressed by the fact that the Red Army were not afraid of sacrifice. Instead, they marched forward courageously.
Overall, our student representatives expressed one after another that they would model themselves on Huang Zhen and other revolutionary predecessors, whose selfless dedication students should learn from in the meantime. Additionally, student representatives were determined to advance& enrich the grand spirit of the long march, study hard and enhance their skills to serve our country.
